  23.  akJFIF.datatype is a JPEG datatype, which is based on the
  24.  latest IJG JFIF sources V6b.
  25.  
  26.  So it does support progressive JPEG and all the other things
  27.  introduced with V6a (note: it reads progressive JPEG, but DataTypes
  28.  cannot display images progressively - instead only as a single chunk).

  35.       o (upto) 256 palette colors
  36.       o HAM6 or HAM8

  38.    - picture.datatype V43 (CyberGraphX or Picasso96 *) or V44 (OS 3.5)

  40.       o 24 Bit RGB

  42.  Where upto 256 colors always will be exported unmodified,
  43.  and 24 Bit data either is dithered or converted to HAM6/HAM8,
  44.  if it can't be or should not be exported unmodified.
